Kate and I are in Newmarket at the moment, in the fog! We visited Cambridge yesturday, for a bit of last minute shopping. I took the oppurtunity to take a few photos.
Today we visited Aldburgh, and with the added fog it was very easy to see what inspired Britten to write Peter Grimes.

Curryoke and a Christmas Tree

December 3, 2006 at 5:05 pm (Uncategorized)

Kate and I have had a pretty busy weekend, we spent most of yesterday in an all day rehearsal with concert band. It was pretty productive, and a real improvement was noticed by most of the band. We then went out for a curry with the band, which ended up having a bit of a twist to it, ‘Curryoke’ – it has to be one of the only curry houses in Southampton, which has Karaoke during your meal! James and Adam had a good go at a couple of Christmas classics, and we then retired to a pub after some of the locals started singing.
Today we went food shopping, and bought our Christmas tree, which you can see we have decorated. Only two more rehearsals to the CB concert now.. could be a long rehearsal on Tuesday.
